Delivering results with expert project management and strategic leadership

Perfect execution

The LMS was designed and developed in house after careful consideration of out of the box solutions. One main reason for doing the development ourselves was developing only the functionality we needed and nothing more.  The LMS supports live, self-study and facilitated courses. We included unique features that set us apart from our competition. During my tenure we were able to launch from MVP to V1.4.

New Memberships

  • We decided the organization needed to be rebranded.  It had been nearly 40 years since we opened our doors and the time was right to make the change.  We included the classrooms as part of the rebrand.  We needed to upgrade the technology to compete with out of the box LMS solutions. text goes here

Product artifacts

Business Model Canvas

During the Product Management course at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, we used the Business Model Generator to accelerate idea generation and evaluate the value propositions of each concept. I implemented the use of this canvass for the LMS product.

Roadmap Document

I developed a Product Master Plan to consolidate all documentation from ideation through development and launch. This comprehensive roadmap outlines the project vision and details the plan for each product version.

Classroom Landing Page

The main landing page within our courses is fully customizable. We chose to feature a welcome letter from our CEO that provides students with important information and sets a welcoming tone.

Value Map

I developed a value map to illustrate a key feature of a specific value proposition outlined in the Business Model. The value map is organized into products and services, pain relievers, and gain creators.

Wireframes

These wireframes were initially created by an external vendor for our MVP. We made substantial modifications to the designs based on feedback from our development team and insights from trusted users."

Course Video Player

The second tab within the course houses all lecture content, organized into sections for course materials and video lessons. This structure was designed to ensure easy navigation and a seamless learning experience.

Customer Profile

I developed a customer profile for one of my personas, detailing key aspects of their needs and challenges. The green notes outline the jobs this customer segment needs to complete in their work and daily life, while the pink notes represent the desired outcomes or gains. Lastly, the blue notes capture potential risks, obstacles, and negative outcomes associated with their tasks.

User Stories

These user stories accompany the wireframes for the MVP of the LMS, forming part of the comprehensive Product Master Plan I developed. Together, they provide clear guidance on functionality and user experience for the initial product version.

Course Discussion Board

In addition to self-study courses, we offer facilitated courses that include a discussion board to enhance interactivity. We focused on creating a solution that is both easy to read and simple to use—this represents the MVP of that design.
